Church - History

The Church was Founded by Ps. Selvaraj Israel in the year 1962 and in Sholurmattam, Nilgiri Hills, Western ghats, India. It began with a handful of believers. The day was not far-off when the church was filled to its brim. This culminated in the formation of many new churches around.

Then His son Ps. Eliyesar took over the mantle in 1984. Notwithstanding the problems, opposition, etc, he built the ministry and turned it to what it is today by the grace and will of God. With this experience behind Him, Pastor. Eliyesar set out looking for other places for church planting. As a result, ministries were begun in Coimbatore (TN) and Mysore in Karnataka. In course of time Thiruvalla in Kerala and Bihar were identified as the mission fields where grass root level works have already been begun.

As of now, there are 18 mission fields and 8 churches under Grace Harvest and the number is likely to go up.

Grace Harvest Church is pursuing to fulfill the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.
